Life after college sucks. Follow one guy’s traumatically funny entrance into the “real world” where high school girlfriends don’t come back, friends laugh at you, and life-long dreams don’t come true. Featuring a cast that includes many characters playing themselves (Adam Green, Steven DeWitt, W. Axl Rose the cat) and made by a skeleton crew of volunteers and friends… COFFEE & DONUTS wound up being purchased by Walt Disney / Touchstone television and developed as a sit-com for UPN in 2003 and then re-developed for the G4 network in 2009 before being re-vamped as the TV sit-com HOLLISTON for the FEARnet cable television network. HOLLISTON starts airing on FEARnet in April 2012.
Based on a true story and made with a meager $400 budget, this is the infamous indie film that launched the career of writer/director Adam Green and started it all for ArieScope Pictures.
