Victor Crowley lives! Just a few short weeks after HATCHET II hit home video and literally sold off the shelves faster than the major retailers could stock it, a third installment was green-lit by Dark Sky Films and ArieScope Pictures. Danielle Harris and Kane Hodder return for the next film in the now bona fide worldwide HATCHET franchise which finds a search and recovery team heading into the haunted Louisiana swamp to pick up the pieces of the first two films and “Marybeth” (Harris) seeking out the secret to ending the voodoo curse that has kept the paranormal entity of “Victor Crowley” (Hodder) haunting and terrorizing Honey Island Swamp for decades.

Filming begins in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 30, 2012 and an early 2013 release is planned at this time.
