After Six Successful Years on the Air, Co-Hosts Adam Green, Joe Lynch, and Arwen Find a New Home on the Network Helmed by the Iconic Horror Company FANGORIA

DALLAS, TX (July 2019)–– Since its launch in March of this year, the FANGORIA Podcast Network has acquired multiple beloved shows and continues to fill out its slate of original programming, including the new series CASUALTY FRIDAY, hosted by real-life friends Tiffany Shepis, Felissa Rose, and Kane Hodder, which dropped last week.

About THE MOVIE CRYPT

Hosted by filmmakers Adam Green (HATCHET, FROZEN), Joe Lynch (EVERLY, MAYHEM), and the show-stealing Yorkshire Terrier “Arwen”, THE MOVIE CRYPT is a weekly entertainment behind-the-scenes podcast that focuses on the deeply personal career journeys of artists ranging from Hollywood’s A-List to the freshest up-and-coming voices in the industry today. Through its hosts’ candid and heartfelt conversations with their guests, the show provides inspiration and hope for established and aspiring artists striving or struggling to chase their dreams.

For six years now, listeners have tuned in every Monday (Literally – they’ve never missed a week, ever) to hear Green, Lynch, and Arwen hold spirited conversations with such celebrated artists as Jordan Peele, Roger Corman, James Gunn, Lin Shaye, Greg Nicotero, and more. Through holidays and packed production schedules, these hosts have devoted themselves to highlighting and championing the great work done in the horror genre and cinema at large. You’ll hear from your heroes and you’ll also hear from the talent managers, costume designers, sound mixers, and studio executives that make your favorite movies possible.

“When a new episode of THE MOVIE CRYPT comes out each week, we make a point around the FANGORIA office to listen right away because Adam and Joe score these amazing guests in our genre universe and then get them to bare their souls to an audience of aspiring filmmakers. THE MOVIE CRYPT is a gift to horror, and the FANGORIA Podcast Network is lucky to be a part of this journey. Plus, we stan Arwen,” enthuses FANGORIA CEO Dallas Sonnier, a genuine fan of the show and the Yorkshire Terrier.

“Joe and I both grew up on FANGORIA Magazine,” says Green. “It’s been such a huge part of who we are and how we found our careers. To now have our podcast part of the FANGORIA Family and legacy is quite literally both of our childhood dreams coming true.”

The first episode of THE MOVIE CRYPT’s FANGORIA chapter will premiere on Monday, July 15th. THE MOVIE CRYPT is available on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your audio content.

About FANGORIA

FANGORIA is the iconic horror film fan magazine with a die-hard fan base, in publication since 1979. FANGORIA was acquired by CINESTATE, the Texas-based movie studio run by producer Dallas Sonnier, who re-launched the magazine as a print-only quarterly collectible while extending the franchise into films, podcasts, and books. FANGORIA’s latest movie SATANIC PANIC is currently in an international festival fun, and the studio recently wrapped production on the Joe Begos-helmed Action-Horror V.F.W., which stars genre legend Stephen Lang. Up next, the studio is reimagining the 1995 Stuart Gordon cult hit CASTLE FREAK, which is set to begin production in Albania next month.
