October is always a busy month for ArieScope but 2021 might be one of our busiest years yet! The 23rd ArieScope annual Halloween short film is just a few days away from premiering… the new HOLLISTON graphic novel (“Holliston Goes to Hell”) and HATCHET comic book (“Victor Crowley’s Halloween Tales 3”) hit comic book store shelves (and arrive in stock here in the ArieScope store) at the end of the month… THE MOVIE CRYPT podcast has 3 live events for Patreon members this month (“Movie Crypt Live” is this Sunday 10/10… Adam and Joe just performed a LIVE commentary for 1993’s JASON GOES TO HELL during “Slumber Party Massacre” on 10/3… and there’s still another “Slumber Party Massacre” event coming on 10/29)… and now this! A FREE screening of HATCHET with writer/director Adam Green and star Joel David Moore on Saturday night 10/23 in Hollywood, CA!

After almost 2 years without a public appearance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Green and Moore wanted to put on an intimate and memorable event for fans. As a Halloween treat for the LA chapter of the Hatchet Army, they are hosting a FREE screening of HATCHET (2007) at Stone Street on Saturday night October 23rd at 8pm where they will be showing the un-rated director’s cut of HATCHET on Stone Street’s open air patio and then sharing stories in a Q&A with the audience immediately following the film. No reservations are necessary but the event is first come, first served so get there when doors open at 7pm to ensure you get a seat!
