Principal photography begins Monday (June 17, 2019) on HEART BABY EGGPLANT, a new comedy series created by and starring actresses Alison Haislip (CON MAN, SUPERSTORE), Rati Gupta (BIG BANG THEORY, FUTURE MAN), and ArieScope alumni Laura Ortiz (HOLLISTON, VICTOR CROWLEY). Inspired by true stories, the seven episode single-camera series takes an honest and humorous look at different styles of relationships in today’s world: from casual sex and dating, to the pursuit of one’s true love, all the way to marriage and motherhood.

Written by Rati Gupta, HEART BABY EGGPLANT is an ArieScope Pictures production produced by Sarah Elbert (HATCHET, HOLLISTON) and directed by Adam Green (HATCHET, FROZEN) with director of photography Will Barratt (FROZEN, DIGGING UP THE MARROW) lensing the series.
