Audience sizes are purposely kept intimate for all ArieScope LIVE events in order to give all participants ample time to interact and ask questions. While all ArieScope LIVE events sell-out in advance, we expect this one to sell out especially fast. So don’t wait! Read all of the details and reserve your ticket for the live stream here.
Adam Green will be appearing at the ROCK AND SHOCK horror convention in Worcester, MA next weekend (Friday October 11th through Sunday October 13th) and ArieScope is sending him home with two exclusive “Victor Crowley” skulls that will be for sale at his booth!
Individually hand-made and hand-painted by FX artist Robert Pendergraft (the key FX artist on the HATCHET film franchise), each skull takes 4 days to make! Made from the exact same mold used to create “Victor Crowley’s” exposed skeleton seen on-screen in HATCHET 3, these incredible high end collector’s items are made from a mixture of polyurethane foam and urethane plastic. Each skull comes autographed by Robert Pendergraft and Adam will of course sign them in person at the convention. NOTE: Kane Hodder is also appearing at ROCK AND SHOCK this year so if you’re lucky enough to get one of these amazing props make sure that you get him to sign it, too!
Originally only available for fans to purchase on Adam Green’s 2017 “Dismember America Tour,” these are the very last two skulls that Robert Pendergraft held on to. Skulls are first come first serve and when they’re gone – they’re gone, so if you want to try and get your slasher loving hands on one make sure that you’re among the first in line at Adam’s booth when the celebrity autograph area of the convention opens on Friday. Or just hope that there is still one left on Saturday if you’re not going to be there on Friday! Skulls are $300 each.
Adam Green always signs autographs and takes pictures with fans for free so bring whatever DVD/Blu-Ray covers, movie posters, or album/CD covers of his that you would like him to sign for you! There will also be other ArieScope merchandise for sale at Adam’s booth including a limited number of the brand new HATCHET comic book “Victor Crowley’s Halloween Tales!”
The new HATCHET comic is available in 5 different variant covers and hits shelves on October 9th. You can order your autographed copies from ArieScope right here.
ArieScope mourns the loss of our dear friend and cinematic legend Sid Haig. Born in Fresno, California on July 14, 1939, Sid would go on to become an accomplished musician and celebrated actor of the stage and screen. He appeared in over 350 television shows, he starred in over 100 films, and he worked with some of the greatest filmmakers of all time including Jack Hill, Alfred Hitchcock, Lucille Ball, George Lucas, and Quentin Tarantino. Sid’s career defining performance as “Captain Spaulding” in Rob Zombie’s HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES (2003) and THE DEVIL’S REJECTS (2005) made him a bonafide icon of the horror genre.
In his work with ArieScope, Sid stole HATCHET 3 (2013) with his hilarious performance as “Abbott MacMullen,” he had everyone exhausted from laughing with his self-deprecating appearance in HOLLISTON (2013), and he elevated our Halloween short films DON’T DO IT (2016) and THE INTERVENTION (2018) with his voice work as “Robert the Pumpkin.” However, it was Sid’s candor in his episode of Adam Green’s SCARY SLEEPOVER (2015), his honesty during his multiple appearances on THE MOVIE CRYPT podcast (2013, 2017, and 2019), and his emotional episode of HORRIFIED (2017) that made the world fall in love with Sid Haig the man.
HOLLISTON Season 2, Episode 10 “Farm Festival”
Sid Haig was a huge part of the ArieScope family and we will all miss him every day. “Sid was a dear friend with his limitless emotional generosity, a loving mentor with his uncanny guidance and patience, and a much needed champion who constantly lifted me up with his unwavering faith in me,” says Adam Green. “My world won’t be the same without him in it.”
In his first convention appearance in 2 years, Adam Green will be heading home to Massachusetts for the ROCK AND SHOCK horror and music convention taking place October 11th through 13th at the DCU Center & Worcester Palladium! Adam will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans all 3 days along with ArieScope alumni Kane Hodder (HATCHET 1-4, HOLLISTON), Derek Mears (HATCHET 3, HOLLISTON), Ray Wise (DIGGING UP THE MARROW), Felissa Rose (HATCHET 4), Bill Mosley (HOLLISTON), Joe Knetter (co-writer of I, SURVIVOR), and many more!
As always, Adam never charges fans for his autograph or photo so bring all of your ArieScope Blu-Rays/DVD covers, your HADDONFIELD records/cds, movie posters, or whatever else from his body of work that you would like him to sign! There will be various ArieScope merchandise for sale at Adam’s booth including an extremely limited amount of items that will be for sale exclusively at Rock And Shock. (Stay tuned for details!) To purchase tickets to the convention in advance please visit Rock And Shock’s official website here.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a prior professional obligation Arwen will not be appearing with Adam in Worcester, MA. She is sorry to miss this one but sends her love to all of her fans in New England.

Chris Permatteo, the bass guitarist for HADDONFIELD, passed away suddenly on Thursday July 11, 2019. While Chris is believed to have died of natural causes, the exact cause of death is still unknown at this time. Chris’ family, friends, and bandmates are shocked and devastated by this tragic loss.
From HADDONFIELD’s lead singer Adam Green: “Last night my dear friend Chris Permatteo passed away suddenly from what is believed to be natural causes. It’s shocking, confusing, and devastating. Sadly, we won’t have answers for many weeks. From our many years of writing and performing music together in our band HADDONFIELD we shared a brotherhood that anyone who has ever been in a band for a long time can understand. Chris was an incredibly gifted bass player and he was always a voice of reason. Forever curious, excited, worried, practical, nervous- all in a great, “responsible” OCD kind of way. But most of all Chris was always kind, supportive, and generous.”
“On Saturday he randomly texted me just to remind me that he’s always rooting for me and to say how proud he is of the things I’ve accomplished in my career. That was Chris. When I made HATCHET I named two of the characters after him (“Mr. and Mrs. Permatteo”) and gave them the two best deaths in the film. To me it was just a fun shout-out to my friend but to Chris it meant the absolute world when he heard his name in the movie. I’ll always be grateful for our years performing together and I’m especially thankful that we got to do it again one last time when HADDONFIELD played the Worcester Palladium at Rock And Shock in 2017. But most of all I’ll always be grateful for his friendship. It’s been hard enough living 3,000 miles away from my true home for the last 20 years, but today I’m so far away from my friends that I may as well live on another planet.”
“To everyone grieving back home- I’m sorry I’m not there with you but you’re each in my every thought. To Chris’ amazing wife Michelle- absolutely anything you ever need- …ANYTHING. And to my bandmates Jon, Alix, Gregg, and (more recently) Mike: Yesterday is alive in my memory, we have to think of the times we were young and free, to keep alive the spirit of the young…
Sleep well, P-man. I love you.”
